Helen Griffiths

Helen Griffiths holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree from the University of Toronto.  In addition to being an art consultant for over 30 years for private and corporate collectors, Helen Griffiths is also a certified art appraiser and curator for a select group of public company collections.  Helen has been a member of the Board of Directors of the Public Art Gallery at Harbourfront, the Power Plant, and a member of the Board of Directors of the Canadian Art Foundation, whose primary endeavour is the publishing of “Canadian Art”, Canada’s leading visual arts magazine.  She was involved in helping to organize the Toronto International Art Fair, Canada’s premier fine art fair for modern and contemporary art.

CHRISTINE GRIFFITHS

Christine Griffiths has over 10 years of experience in the arts in Canada, including working for the Art Gallery on Ontario;  Helen Griffiths & Associates, Fine Arts; The Creative Spirit Art Centre;  KATI; Gallery 133 and the Toronto representative for BYDealers Auction House.  She holds a BA from the University of Western Ontario and has a vast knowledge of contemporary and historical Canadian and International art. Christine received her professional training through the International Society of Appraisers.  Christine holds a BA from the University of Western Ontario and has a vast knowledge of contemporary and historical Canadian and International art. Christine is a member of the International Society of Appraisers (*ISA), the largest professional appraisal association in North America. She received her professional training through ISA which focuses on the ethical, legal and theoretical aspects of appraising as well as the research, analysis and report writing standards. Christine is a member of the Canadian Chapter of ISA Appraisers and the International Encaustic Artist Association.
